Honey Sesame Dressing-Marinade
Honey Sesame Dressing
I made this dressing the other night and used it as a marinade for swordfish – it would work equally well on salmon. I baked the swordfish in the marinade and then seared it in a fry pan to finish, but you could grill it just as easily. You can find Chinese black vinegar at Asian food stores or online – but you can substitute balsamic as well.
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons Tamari
- ¼ cup Chinese black vinegar (Chinkiang vinegar) or Balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup Seek&Bee Raw Honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 2 Teaspoons sesame oil
Place all ingredients in a small jar and shake vigorously until well blended. If using as fish marinade, pour over fish and let marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, flipping at least once. Can be stored in sealed container for up to a week.
